How to find us
Enter the Leeds Dental Institute building through the revolving doors in front of the car park. Walk straight down to the end of the main corridor and you will find our reception signposted “Restorative Dentistry Reception”.
What we do
Specialist care is prioritised for patient groups with oral cancer, patients who are born with missing teeth (hypodontia), patients with oral developmental deformities (e.g. cleft lip & palate) and patients affected by significant oral and facial trauma. For these cases, we often work closely with our colleagues in various departments at the Leeds Dental Institute including Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics and Paediatric Dentistry.
We also provide specialist advice and treatment planning to general dental practitioners in the following areas:
- Endodontics (root canal problems)
- Periodontics (gum problems)
- Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics (replacement of missing or worn and broken-down teeth)
- Implant Dentistry
We work in partnership with the University of Leeds and Health Education England (Yorkshire and the Humber) to provide teaching to a range of students and dental professionals (dentists, hygiene therapists, nurses and technicians) and conduct clinical dental research.
