Patient Medicines Helpline
Phone 0113 206 4376 or email [email protected]
If you have questions about your medicines that you would like to discuss with a pharmacist, for example how to take a new medicine, or possible side effects and interactions with existing medicines, please call our helpline on 0113 206 4376 (available Monday to Sunday, 9am to 5pm).
If you use this service, please try to have all of your regular medicines with you, plus anything that you buy over the counter and any herbal or vitamin products that you take. This will help us to give you the most appropriate answer to your questions.
For questions about the supply of a particular medicine, please contact the dispensary that you collected your prescription from. You may be asked for your hospital number, which can be found at the top of letters that we may have sent you.

We are able to offer students aged 15 or over a placement for up to five days. The placement may be at either St James or Leeds General Infirmary.
Due to the number of requests we receive we are only able to offer placements to students who are interested in pharmacy as a career. If you are interested in a placement please contact [email protected].
