IGF-1 is unstable. Samples must be separated rapidly. IGF-1 is only stable at 4C for up to 24 hours. For longer periods, it must remain frozen until analysis.
Instructions for Lab: Centrifuge, separate from cells and store frozen prior to analysis. Minimum volume 500 uL serum. If sending samples from an external Trust, please send on dry ice.
