Research
Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is a major teaching hospital with very close links to the University of Leeds. The IBD department is very research active. Our research is aiming to improve health and quality of life for our patients. As such we conduct research on new drug treatment, better ways of delivering treatment, the psychological and social aspects of having IBD and many other issues. Our research will help improve the care for future patients and we may ask you to get involved in a research study. Taking part in research is always voluntary and a decision against research does not affect your care in any way.
