What are Community Diagnostic Centres?
Leeds’ Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) provide a broad range of diagnostic tests closer to patients’ homes, reducing the pressure on the acute hospital sites of St James’s Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary.
Leeds has three CDCs, Seacroft CDC – Seacroft Hospital, Beeston CDC – James Reed House, Armley CDC – Armley Moor Health Centre.
These three sites offer a range of diagnostic services:

• Cardio-Respiratory – Ambulatory BP, ECG, Transthoracic Echo, Holter, Sleep Studies

How can patients access our Community Diagnostic Centres?
Your GP or hospital care team will refer you for your required diagnostic test, at which point you will be able to select the most convenient location for you.
Our CDCs provide an additional choice for patients, and doesn’t replace any of your current options, so you may wish to have your appointment at a CDC location, your GP surgery, or another LTH hospital site.
If your name, address, date of birth are incorrect or out of date, contact your GP surgery and ask them to update your details.
