What is the Patient Involvement Forum?
The Patient Involvement Forum is a friendly and informal platform for service users to gain additional wellbeing tips from our team, as well as being able to provide thoughts and views on how we shape and develop our service moving forwards.
Anyone who has accessed the Clinical and Health Psychology department in the past 2 years is encouraged to become a member of this Team.
How can I get involved?
You can become a member of our Patient Involvement Forum by joining our mailing list.
You will receive a quarterly newsletter that will include:
- General wellbeing tips
- Invitations to share your views and give feedback on the service
You will be able to contribute as much or as little as you want and can withdraw from the mailing list at any time.
What’s expected of volunteers?
Service users will be asked to share their views about the ideas and actions within the service. This could be things like the workbooks used within therapy; setting up therapeutic groups; audits within the service; and wider hospital issues, such as parking.
Please note that by expressing interest, you have no obligation to commit to doing any of the above and can request to be taken off the patient involvement list at any time.
How do I find out more/ get involved?
If you would like to hear more about the patient involvement team, please speak to the staff member you work with or contact us via telephone or email
Share your views and make a difference; we look forward to hearing from you!
