Camouflage products are specifically designed to conceal and blend in with your surrounding skin tone. However they will not alter the skin texture.
You may experience variations in skin tone if exposed to sunlight. If this occurs a further consultation maybe required.
Camouflage creams:
- Are hypoallergenic and perfume free.
- Contain ultraviolet and sun protecting properties.
- Once set are designed to be waterproof and smear resistant.
Allergic reactions
It is rare for camouflage products to create an allergic reaction.
If you experience any burning, itching or reddening of the skin, cleanse the area thoroughly and seek medical advice before continuing with your camouflage application.
Storage
Keep away from sunlight in dry conditions.
Do not keep for any longer than 18 months.
How to apply and remove your skin camouflage
To Apply
- Make sure the area is clean and dry before starting skin
- camouflage.
- Apply camouflage as shown by your practitioner.
- Powder generously pressing powder gently in with your powder puff or dry cotton wool pad. Leave for five minutes.
- Remove excess powder with dry cotton wool or brush. Repeat steps 2-4 as necessary.
- To set and waterproof application, blot over the area with a damp cotton wool pad.
To Remove
- Gently massage cleansing cream into the area of camouflage and wipe off with dampened cotton wool.
- Brushes and applicators should be washed in warm soapy
- water and left to dry.
- It may take up to one hour before the camouflage can be
- considered to be fully water and smudge proof.
- Once applied it can with care remain in place for up to three days, however it is advisable to remove from the face on a daily basis.
Warning
Once set do not use the following as this can cause lifting of your camouflage cream: massage oils, bath oils, sun tan lotions, creams, shower gels and similar cleansing agents including household detergent.
You can however swim, shower or take a bath but remember to gently pat dry as rubbing with a towel will remove the camouflage.
