If you require medical assistance during your journey and need ambulance transport please ask your GP to arrange this prior to your first appointment. Your transport may arrive early to collect you, so please be ready at least two hours before your appointment time. Once you arrive at the hospital for your appointment please let the nurse know that you have arrived via hospital transport.
After your Outpatient appointment, you may need to wait for transport to collect you and waiting times will be kept to a minimum wherever possible.
Please let us know if your condition improves and you do not require hospital transport any more.
