I am working in Leeds NHS trust since 2014 as consultant Haematologist. My main clinical and research interests are in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, particularly in the assessment of the mechanism of action of novel targeted therapies for CLL.
Other clinical interests include the management of patients with aplastic anaemia and paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria (PNH), and I am one of the PNH consultants working in the PNH National Service. I also has a special interest in the management of adult histiocytic disorders, especially Langerhans cell histiocytosis and Erdheim Chester disease.
I am a sub-investigator for the National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) CLL Phase II and III clinical trials in the UK, and is involved in multiple NCRI and non-NCRI studies at Leeds Teaching Hospital.
