I work as the rehabilitation consultant for the major trauma centre and neurosurgical wards at Leeds General Infirmary. My primary clinical interest is in optimising the functional recovery of people who have sustained complex injury, including brain injury, spinal injury and limb loss. Prior to my current post which commenced in 2015 I worked for over 2 years as a consultant stroke physician at Airedale General Hospital.
My research interests are primarily in visual impairments following neurological injury, visual rehabilitation and degenerative musculoskeletal conditions. I also have research interests in outcome measurement and assistive technology.
