This page is mainly aimed at staff members within the Trust.
However, members of the public may find this useful to understand the process.
Are you wanting to get involved in research?
Before you do so, you need to ensure that you have completed your GCP by using the following guidance.
GCP training is a mandatory requirement for all staff undertaking clinical trials of investigational medicinal products (CTIMPs), non-CTIMPs and Observational studies at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals.
The principles of GCP state that each individual involved in conducting a trial should be qualified by education, training and experience to perform his or her respective task(s). The training covers key legislation and provides guidance on conducting research for all members of the research team.

After you have completed your GCP training we will also need to have a copy of your CV for our records to ensure that you are qualified to be involved in Research.
You should provide us with a short form version of your CV for ease, with a template for the short version which can be located here. However you can provide us with a copy of your long form CV, but it will need to be signed by yourself and dated on the cover page clearly.
We need copies of your most up to date CV every year so we will often email yourself requesting this. If nothing has changed, you can send it re-signed, as well as dated, to the Stroke and Neurosurgery Research.
